Gamma Sterilizable Beta Bags For BioPharma Manufacturing

Engineered to provide simple, efficient transfer for hygienic Life Science applications, Single-Use Gamma Bags are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to withstand gamma-sterilization processes. They are designed to dock with other major Alpha port designs easily. Like our original Single-Use Beta Bags, Gamma Bags are made in the USA and supported by CRL’s dedicated Customer Service and Sales team.

Product Info
Single-Use Gamma Bags consist of fully sealed bags made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that are welded to the weld ring for a secure connection. They are provided ready for sterilization, fill and use. Gamma Bags are engineered to be gamma irradiated once at a target dose of 25 kGy, and they can be docked multiple times. Gamma Bags are compatible with other major Alpha port designs, ensuring easy docking to the isolator. Manufactured in the Unites States, Gamma Bags are assembled in a Class 7 ISO-certified clean room.
Application Usage
CRL Single-Use Gamma Bags are ideal for use in all critical Life Science applications, including pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing and drug-filling lines.

  • Beta Seal: FDA-Approved Silicon
  • O-Ring: FDA-Approved Silicon
  • Weld Ring: HDPE

Cleanliness:

  • Particulate:
    • Particulate ≥ 10 µm, NMT 20 #/mL
    • Particulate ≥ 25 µm, NMT 3 #/mL
  • Endotoxin: ≤ 0.125 EU/mL

Materials: 

  • Assembly is designed to be gamma irradiated one
    time at a target dose of 25 kGy.
  • Recommended storage conditions are 55ºF-80°F
    (13ºC-27°C) and 30%-60% relative humidity.
