Single-Use Gamma Bags consist of fully sealed bags made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that are welded to the weld ring for a secure connection. They are provided ready for sterilization, fill and use. Gamma Bags are engineered to be gamma irradiated once at a target dose of 25 kGy, and they can be docked multiple times. Gamma Bags are compatible with other major Alpha port designs, ensuring easy docking to the isolator. Manufactured in the Unites States, Gamma Bags are assembled in a Class 8 ISO-certified clean room.
